Whoodle colors
A Whoodle inherits its colour from both parents — the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier and the Poodle. Here are the colours you'll commonly see, which are rarer, and which come with a health note.
| Colour | Notes |
|---|---|
| Wheaten | Classic cream-to-gold, like the Wheaten Terrier. |
| Red | Rich copper. |
| Black | From a black Poodle parent. |
| Chocolate | From the Poodle side. |
| Silver | Clears from a darker puppy coat. |
| Parti | White + a second colour. |
Rarer colours are often priced higher by breeders, but colour has no effect on health or temperament — don't pay a premium for a "rare" colour alone. Coat colour can also shift as a puppy matures. See how it works.
