Cavapoo colors
A Cavapoo inherits its colour from both parents — the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the Poodle. Here are the colours you'll commonly see, which are rarer, and which come with a health note.
| Colour | Notes |
|---|---|
| Gold / Apricot | Very common. |
| Cream | Common. |
| Chestnut & white (Blenheim) | From the Cavalier side. |
| Red | Rich ruby tone. |
| Tri-colour | Black, white and tan. |
| Black & tan | From the Cavalier side. |
| Black | From a black Poodle parent. |
Rarer colours are often priced higher by breeders, but colour has no effect on health or temperament — don't pay a premium for a "rare" colour alone. Coat colour can also shift as a puppy matures. See how it works.
