Boxerdoodle colors

A Boxerdoodle inherits its colour from both parents — the Boxer and the Poodle. Here are the colours you'll commonly see, which are rarer, and which come with a health note.

Fawn

Tan-gold, from the Boxer side; common.

Brindle

Tiger-striped pattern from the Boxer.

Black

From a black Poodle parent.

Chocolate

From the Poodle side.

White / Parti

White with patches.

Red

Also seen.

Rarer colours are often priced higher by breeders, but colour has no effect on health or temperament — don't pay a premium for a "rare" colour alone. Coat colour can also shift as a puppy matures. See how it works.
